This year Sedibeng Choral Society will stage its 4^th Annual performance at Maitisong. The show will be entitled MADE IN BOTSWANA. The first half of the show the choir will perform opera choruses in French, German and Italian. This segment will run for about 45 minutes. The main highlight of the show will then commence after a 20 minute break.

MADE IN BOTSWANA is a production celebrating the everyday life and culture of Botswana. This will comprise of a collection of Setswana songs that speak of the Setswana way of life including dramatic depiction of a traditional Setswana wedding, contemporary religious expression, and a song celebrating traditional values, including messages on topical issues such as HIV AIDS etc. All these songs have been stringed together into one act and one story will be enacted out in costumes by the group (all in song). The stage will be turned into a set depicting a typical village. This type of performance will be a first for Botswana. Sedibeng is diversifying choral music and blending it with theatre.

For any of you who were at the Thornhill Pta's "Blarney Bros" last year will remember it as such a memorable occasion!

Once again we are holding another "SURE TO BE BRILLIANT" evening,

and this time are bringing up

Abbott & Crabb from Jhb. 

 Abbott and Crabb are comedians who give about an hours comedy stint

and have then promised to entertain us for the rest of the evening with losts of music and dancing.  

Tickets are ready at the price of P200 per person - which includes a dinner. 

We are hosting again at the University of Botswana's open arena -

only this time have back up undercover incase the rains surprise us again!
