'Clockwork' at Northside Primary School Hall P20-00 per person 1st April Wednesday- 3pm 2nd April Thursday- 7pm 3rd April Friday - 7pm ***************************** 'The heart that is given, must also be kept.' Fritz, a storyteller begins a tale of mystery and suspense about a King that drives his sledge back at his castle one night - when he arrives, the guards at the gate discover that he is dead, cold as ice and yet his arm that lashed the whip over the terrified horses that pulled the sledge, continues to move back and forth, back and forth, back and forth. The king's arm is working with a small piece of clockwork that has been placed in his breast, exactly where his heart used to beat. So begin a story within a story within a story that takes us from the little town of Glockenheim to the castle where we meet King. Otto, Queen Mariposa and their son, Prince Florian and the dark and secretive workshop of the sinister, Dr. Kalmenius. Finally we end up back in Glockenheim and find ourselves in the great clock itself. A drama that will keep you guessing right up until the last line.
