VOICE OF LIFE

is

a variety show production by youth health organisation ( YOHO) told by Botswana's most talented and renowned artists through storytelling, drama music, poetry and comedy.

This is a show not to be missed as it provides inspiration on how to fight Hiv/ Aids and promote positive living.

Title: Voice of Life

Brief synopsis

The YOHO festival Day – Voice of Life will be staged on March 27, at Maitisong. The program will demonstrate the YOHO Triple E – Entertainment, Education for Empowerment model through a cross cutting theme entitled “VOICE OF LIFE”. The acts for the night will include a drama entiltled ‘The Flower’ – a compelling story of domestic violence told by a young woman at the grave yards. It is well decorated with movement, music and stunning acting skills. The other is an episodic presentation of the voices of children, expressing the need and children’s right to know about the welfare of their families. A moving well choreographed piece by children from Kasane. It was presented to the President of the Republic of Botswana during the World AIDS day commemorations in Phikwe. The show is further spiced by the appearance of popular comedians such as Bobo who won the presidential competitions for comedy in 2008. Ntirelang, the dynamic poet will also baptise the event. The likes of Maxy, Vee and Culture Spears – some of the leading local artists in Botswana will bless the program. This is a show not to miss, it present some of the best local performing art works.
