Matthews Matsetse started singing at the age of ten and that was mainly at church and during school music competitions.

 In the year 2000 he released his first Cd titled “Wanna Live”. The CD was received well by gospel lovers especially in Gaborone. His major breakthrough though, came in 2005 when he won 2nd place in the popular My African Dream competitions.

He has since featured on several My African Dream competitions as a guest artist. Mathaio released his 2nd CD which features the hit track “This Love” playing almost every week on BTV.

In an effort to take his talent to the next level, Mathaio is planning a LIVE DVD recording concert which will be held at Maitisong on the 14th August 2010.
