Maitisong Festival 2025 is set to run from April 1st to April 28th in Gaborone, Botswana. As the country’s leading performing arts festival, it showcases local and international theatre, music, dance, poetry, and comedy.

🧭 Festival Background

Now in its 33rd year, Maitisong Festival is Botswana’s biggest arts celebration. It has helped launch careers and build bridges between Botswana and international talent.

The 2025 theme is Kgotla ya Badiragatsi, focused on nurturing the creative arts industry and providing a platform for local artists to shine.
